Biography
Mariel Kenderi is a young professional specializing in diplomacy, foreign policy, security, and environmental advocacy and an aspiring expert in crisis response and disaster management. With five years of experience in both the public and private sector, Mariel’s professional background includes extensive research on conflict in Africa, participation in diplomatic affairs, program management, disaster risk reduction as well as recovery and response to humanitarian crisis.
Mariel is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Crisis Response and Disaster Management at the National Defense University-Kenya. With a knack for capacity building, leadership development, risk, and program management, she is committed to making a positive impact in her field.
